Halff Experts Contribute to National Resilience Policy Initiative

RICHARDSON, Texas — Halff Placemaking Solutions Leader Matt Bucchin and Resilience Market Leader Sean Lahav have been appointed by the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) to author a Day One 2025 Policy Memo on Enhancing Planning for a Climate Resilient Infrastructure.

Bucchin and Lahav are also scheduled to participate in the Day One 2025 Policy Summit on Dec. 9 in Washington, D.C. This event will convene experts and policymakers to present and discuss transformative ideas that will shape the future of the United States.

The appointment for this initiative reflects their expertise and commitment to advancing climate resilience and sustainable infrastructure planning.

The Day One 2025 Project is a forward-looking initiative designed to provide the next presidential administration with actionable, science-based policy recommendations. Sean and Matt’s expertise will play a vital role in developing innovative strategies to strengthen infrastructure planning and enhance community resilience in the face of climate change.
